Hi, my name is Lisa and I am the Southern Cross administrator. Originally from South Africa my family immigrated to New Zealand two years ago; this was the best decision we have ever made ! I recently started working at Rees & de Chalain an enjoy being part of this dynamic Administration team.

Practice Nurse (Auckland)

I am one of the Practice Nurses at Auckland Plastic Surgical Centre. I have worked with both Martin Rees and Tristan de Chalain in both the public and private sector for many years.

I have held the position of Practice Nurse for the last 11years. My role is to assist both surgeons in the rooms and in the operating theatre. One of the roles I enjoy most is to be a patient advocate and to build positive relationships with our patients. One of my goals is to provide the best care and support I can and to ensure our patients experience is a positive one. I enjoy working with the team at Rees and de Chalain and look forward to meeting and caring for you and your family.

Nickie White

Medical Receptionist & Client Liaison

Hi I’m Nickie, I am the friendly face who greets you when you come into our practice and the friendly voice on the phone when you call. I am passionate about health and fitness and enjoy running, swimming, sailing and getting to the gym when not at my desk. I joined the team last year and really enjoy the variety the position brings and the supportive nature of my colleagues, it’s a great place to work.

Stephanie Rogers

Medical Typist & Client Liaison (Remuera)

Hello my name is Stephanie Rogers, I am one of the medical typists here at Rees & de Chalain.

I come from a background in Sales and Marketing and more recently as a long haul flight attendant for Air New Zealand.

I am one of the more recent members of the team and love working with a very passionate and dynamic group of people; in my spare time I enjoy playing golf and boating.

Alayne Rees

Registered Nurse (Halfmoon Bay)

Alayne is a Registered Nurse with a Batchelor’s Degree in Nursing. She trained at Middlemore Hospital and has worked in a wide variety of positions such as Intensive Care, Post anaesthetic care, Coronary care but has specialised in Operating Room Nursing/surgical assisting and post-operative care for the past 25 years.

Alayne has a special interest in Plastic surgery both Cosmetic and Reconstructive, with a current emphasis on skin cancer treatment and reconstruction. She has been working as the Theatre manager at Marina Specialists theatre at Half Moon Bay Marina for the past nine years.

In her spare time, she enjoys off-road 4×4 driving, vintage and sports cars, reading, travelling and spending time with her family and friends

Marianne Mahoney

Registerd Nurse (Halfmoon Bay)

Marianne is a Registered nurse born and raised in Christchurch where she did her nursing training which included General Surgery, Orthopaedics, General Medicine, Rheumatology and Intensive Care. She moved to Auckland in the late 1980’s working extensively in Plastic and Cosmetic surgery. A large part of her experience was at Middlemore Hospital Plus Surgery Department as a Theatre nurse and for the past 8 years, she has been one of the two nurses running the Marina Specialists operating theatre at Half Moon Bay Marina assisting with surgery and providing post-operative nursing care.

Due to her broad range of nursing experience and knowledge, she is able to provide high quality individualized post-operative care and positively support her patients through their surgical journey.

Marianne is married, enjoys cooking, badminton and managing her teenage daughter’s hockey team.

Vicky Hughes

Practice Nurse (New Plymouth)

Hello. My name is Vicky and I will be looking after you at Martin Rees satellite clinic Paramount Plastic Surgery in New Plymouth. I am a NZ trained Registered nurse with 11 years experience, having worked both in wards, operating theaters and in the community prior to working with Mr Rees. I will be your point of contact to organize and arrange consultations, surgeries and complete any postoperative care for you. So in effect I am a whole clinic in one providing continuity of care with Mr Rees in New Plymouth.

Bex McAlley

Practice Nurse (Tauranga)

Hi I am Bex, graduated from Otago School of Nursing in 2001, and has specialised in the care of the post­op Surgical patient ever since. My eight years of nursing in the UK bought to the forefront my love of Cosmetic and Plastic reconstructive Surgery. I work closely with Tristan and the APSC nurses to tailor make and individualise their care once they return to Tauranga.
