    Personal Assistant to Dr. Tristan de Chalain

    Lisa is the personal assistant to Dr. de Chalain and a key member of the clinic’s administration team. Originally from South Africa, she moved to New Zealand with her family in 2013 and has since built a strong professional foundation within the healthcare environment.

    Lisa plays an important role in supporting the day-to-day coordination of Dr. de Chalain’s practice, helping to ensure that patients feel informed, organised and well supported throughout their experience with the clinic. She is known for her warm, reliable approach and her commitment to keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

    Sheryl Flower

    Practice Nurse

    Sheryl is a practice nurse at our clinic and has worked closely with Dr. de Chalain since his arrival in New Zealand, initially at Middlemore Hospital before joining his private practice in 2003.

    She supports Dr. de Chalain both in the consulting rooms and in the operating theatre, playing an integral role in the delivery of safe, attentive patient care. Central to her work is acting as a patient advocate, building trusted relationships and ensuring patients feel supported, informed and well cared for at every stage of their treatment. She is committed to providing a calm, reassuring presence for patients and their families.

    Nickie White

    Medical Receptionist & Client Liaison

    Nickie is the medical receptionist and client liaison at our clinic, and is often the first point of contact for patients, welcoming them in person and supporting them by phone and email.

    Since joining the clinic in 2015, she has played an important role in ensuring patients feel comfortable, informed and well supported from their first enquiry through to ongoing care. She values the variety of the role and the collaborative, supportive culture of the clinic.

    Outside of work, Nickie has a strong interest in health and fitness and enjoys staying active.

    Sandra Todd

    Practice Nurse

    Sandra is a practice nurse at our clinic with an extensive background in surgical and critical care nursing. Originally from Scotland, she trained and worked in the UK as a charge nurse on a surgical ward before relocating to New Zealand.

    In New Zealand, Sandra spent a decade working in the Intensive Care Unit at Middlemore Hospital and also worked with Pacific Air Ambulance, providing care for patients across New Zealand and the Pacific. She later moved into private practice within appearance medicine and vein care before returning to her core focus: surgical nursing.

    Her broad clinical experience brings depth and perspective to Dr. de Chalain’s team. She values high standards of care and looks forward to supporting patients throughout their surgical journey.

    Bex McAlley

    Practice Nurse — Tauranga Clinic

    Bex graduated from the Otago School of Nursing in 2001 and has specialised in post-operative surgical care throughout her nursing career. Eight years working in the UK deepened her interest in cosmetic and plastic reconstructive surgery and shaped her approach to attentive, patient-centred recovery care.

    Based at the clinic’s Tauranga location, Bex works closely with Dr. de Chalain and the wider nursing team to ensure care is carefully tailored and well coordinated once patients return home. She is committed to providing continuity, reassurance, and high-quality support throughout the post-operative period.

    Nikki Blackley

    Registered Nurse | Cosmetic Medicine Practitioner

    Nikki brings decades of clinical experience to her work in aesthetic medicine, with a practice that extends beyond injectables to include advanced skin and energy-based treatments such as laser and ultrasound technologies.

    She is deeply consultation-focused, taking time to understand each person’s concerns and working collaboratively to develop a considered, long-term plan. Her approach to aesthetics is holistic and preventative, grounded in the belief that the best outcomes come from aligning treatments with overall skin health, lifestyle, and wellbeing.

    Passionate about staying active and maintaining a healthy lifestyle herself, Nikki integrates this philosophy into her work, supporting clients to look well, feel well, and age thoughtfully.

    Summer Wang

    Registered Nurse | Cosmetic Medicine Practitioner

    Summer qualified as a registered nurse in 2007 and has worked in cosmetic medicine since 2009. With extensive experience in injectable treatments, she is known for a meticulous, highly refined approach that prioritises subtlety, balance, and natural-looking results.

    Fluent in both English and Mandarin, Summer brings a deep understanding of both Asian and Caucasian facial anatomy, allowing her to tailor treatments with cultural and anatomical sensitivity. Her background also includes work as a medical translator, reinforcing her commitment to clear communication and informed decision-making.

    Her work is characterised by restraint and precision, with a strong emphasis on preserving your individual beauty.
