Regenerative Skin Treatments (PRF)
Natural rejuvenation using your body’s own healing power.
Procedure Overview
PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin) is a regenerative treatment that uses concentrated growth factors from your own blood to stimulate natural healing and collagen production. Unlike traditional fillers, PRF does not add volume artificially; instead, it improves skin thickness, texture, elasticity, and overall vitality over time.
When prepared as a PRF bio-filler, the fibrin matrix becomes thicker and can be used to provide gentle, natural-looking volume using only your body’s own tissue. This makes it a popular choice for patients who are concerned about artificial fillers but still want soft structural support.
PRF is commonly used to treat areas such as under-eye hollows, fine lines, crepey skin, acne scarring, and general skin thinning. PRF bio-filler may also be used for delicate volume restoration in areas such as the under-eyes, temples, or fine facial lines. It can also support hair restoration treatments.
The goal is not to change the way you look, but to restore healthier, stronger skin while preserving natural movement and expression. Because PRF works with your body’s own biology, results appear soft, refreshed, and authentic.
This treatment may suit people who are noticing early signs of ageing, dull or thinning skin, volume loss in delicate areas, or who prefer a natural regenerative approach rather than traditional volumising treatments. During your consultation, we determine whether PRF, PRF bio-filler, or an alternative treatment is the best choice for you.
What to expect
Your treatment begins with a thorough consultation, where your practitioner will assess your skin quality, facial structure, and areas of concern. We discuss your goals and determine whether PRF is the right treatment or part of a broader rejuvenation plan.
A small amount of blood is drawn from your arm and placed in a specialised centrifuge to separate the platelet-rich fibrin. This golden serum is rich in growth factors that support tissue repair and collagen production.
In some cases, PRF can also be gently warmed to change its consistency and create a natural bio-filler. This allows your practitioner to use your own biological material to softly restore volume in areas that need subtle support — an excellent option for those who prefer a 100% natural alternative to synthetic dermal fillers.
The PRF is then carefully injected or applied with microneedling, depending on the treatment area. The procedure typically takes around 45–60 minutes in total.
After treatment, you may notice mild redness, swelling, or small bumps at injection sites, which usually settle within a few hours to a couple of days. There is minimal downtime, and most people return to normal activities shortly after.
Results develop gradually as your body produces new collagen and improves skin quality from within.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
Yes. PRF works by stimulating your own collagen, elastin, and tissue regeneration. Results develop gradually and enhance your natural features rather than altering your expression or appearance.
-
Some people notice improved skin texture and glow within a few weeks. Collagen stimulation continues over time, with optimal results typically seen around 2–3 months after treatment.
-
Because PRF supports true tissue regeneration, results can last many months. Maintenance treatments are often recommended to keep stimulating collagen production over time.
-
PRF is considered very safe because it is created from a small sample of your own blood. There are no synthetic additives, which significantly reduces the risk of allergic reactions or rejection.
-
PRF enhances your skin gradually and naturally, so results are subtle rather than dramatic. Treatments are carefully planned to align with your goals and can be adjusted over time.
-
Yes. PRF pairs beautifully with treatments such as microneedling, skin boosters, laser procedures, and anti-wrinkle injections, depending on your individual plan.
